100% Nerello Mascalese and a very unique expression of the grape - vibrant black fruited nose becoming more restrained and fine on tasting. The volcanic influence is there but in support rather than at the forefront. Great balance, fine tannins with freshness, gentle fruit notes and light spice. A very distinctive wine.
