Lots of skin contact and aged for 42 months, the Niepoort Dry White is probably the best white port in the world. Fermented almost to dry and then lifted to 20% alcohol by the addition of pure grape brandy, the predominant aromas are of nuts, principally almonds, with a lively and spirited feel on the palate.
As an alternative aperitif, top up with tonic, ice and a slice of lemon.
