Gulfi is a recently established winery close to the town of Chiaramonte in South East Sicily, an area where the Nero d'Avola produces wines of balance and depth. This is also an area where dry stone walls and limestone scenery are remarkably reminiscent of the Yorkshire Dales.
Fresh herbal notes, hints of black fruit on the nose with some emerging mocha notes on the palate. Tannins are rounded on this very appealing wine.
