Stunning white wine from a truly dedicated winemaker. Timarasso is not a particularly well known grape variety, even by Italian standards, and what Walter Massa acheives in this wine is testament to his and his ancestors' (5 generations) devotion to retaining vines in the area of Piedmont known as the Colli Tortonesi.
The aromas are of citrus and honey with some floral elements. The palate is where it shows its true range - quite rich textured, almost oily, very fresh, some nuttiness and then a very long elegant finish that just leaves a light buttery trail as it descends gracefully from the back of the palate.
