Wonderful cigar full of dark chocolatey flavours that simply demand a 30 yo Pedro Ximenez (PX) from Bodegas Fernando de Castilla. The slight bitter edge of the cigar is balanced to perfection with the sweetness of the Pedro Ximenez; and the cocoa flavours of the cigar are a perfect match for the chocolate and molasses flavours of the PX. If you've never tried this combination you'll be in for a treat.
This vitola edges the other two in the Madura 5 range by virtue of its longer length which has a beneficial cooling effect particularly at the outset which then builds in richness as progress is made. Great sadness when the end is reached!
