Cohiba

Linea 1492 (Siglo)
Introduced in 1992 to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the discovery of Cuba by Christopher Columbus, and subsequently released commercially in 1994. The range was designed to fill the gap left by the witdrawal of Davidoff from Cuba in 1992.
Medium flavoured, noted for mild creamy sweetness, bean flavours and subtle grassy notes.
Linea Clasica
Launched commercially in Madrid as recently as 1989. The range includes the Lanceros, which was the first cigar offered to Fidel Castro by his cigar maker, 'Chicho' Eduardo Rivera.
Maduro 5
Comprising just 3 cigars, this is the smallest of the 3 Cohiba categories and was launched in February, 2007. Maduro 5 is heir to the best tradition of Cuban dark wrapper cigars (capa madura), using the upper leaves of the plant and obtains its characteristic range of dark colors and texture through a long, complex process of natural fermentation. The 5 in the name refers to the length of time the wrapper leaf is aged.
