Barbeito Malvasia 2000 Cask 44a

Recognised as a wine that changed character quite dramatically during time in cask in the hot Madeiran summer of 2007.   This is a unique style of Madeira, with lots of grapey, Moscatel like aromas and a noticeable absence of oxidation and dark, roasted flavours but still very complex with a fresh feel on the palate followed with a long finish.
