Welcome to the New Winearray Website

Well, it's only taken a few years but I'm now taking the first step towards putting wines, cigars and other delights onto a website with online ordering.  It will take some time to add all the products to the website, but I felt it worthwhile opening the online shop with an initial limited range, which will grow gradually over the coming months.

As well as the wines, fortified wines and cigars (not forgetting the armagnacs, cognacs, whiskies, glasses and more besides), the website will keep you informed of what's going on in the shop and beyond.  Now that I've got myself organised in this area there'll be no stopping me applying a ruthless organisational streak to other activities, such as planning ahead each month to let you know what you can come and taste each week on Fridays and Saturdays; producing a quarterly tasting program; and, if you CLICK HERE, you can take advantage of a pre-selected case of delicious wines.

Happy New Year Whisky Additions

A seriously cold start to the new decade; and the warm, spicy (yet elegant) reds of the Rhone -particularly from the South - are the wines that are the perfect partner and antidote to the freezing tundra conditions outside.

Mention should also be given to Douro table wines, many of which offer a very similar taste experience to those emanating from further eastwards in the Rhone.

And finally, fine, well aged fortified wines of the Sherry and Port persuasion can be used to sustain body and soul through the harsher, darker winter nights!

Mark Harris is a man on a mission, endeavouring to unearth some magical whisky stocks that are lurking untouched and unrealised in a deep, dark cellar somewhere in a mist shrouded, lochside castle.  Perhaps I exaggerate a touch, but there are some real gems amongst the spirits that Mark has selected to bottle.
