Stunning Champagnes

A taste of Italy - Follow the Giro

Anticipating the imminent arrival in 2014 of the world's biggest cycle event to Yorkshire, here's a chance to get in the mood in May and taste the wines from the route of Italy's equivalent to the Tour de France.

Every day's a Gosset day

Perhaps not every day but if you have to treat yourself for any reason go for Gosset.  Choose from a range of great Gosset champagnes - from the best of breed Gosset Grand Reserve through to the Vintage 2000.

Select from any one of these stunning champagnes :

Grand Reserve
Grand Rosé
Vintage 2000

O Romeo, Romeo wherefore art thou Romeo?

The R&J Wide Churchill is one of the most appealing of the wider gauge cigars with lots of rich, spicy flavours to enjoy.

Purchase a box of 3 R&J Wide Churchills in tubes and receive an additional R&J no 3 at no extra cost.

Antech Cuvee Emotion, Cremant de Limoux

Made from a combination of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Mauzac grapes, Antech Emotion is an admirable alternative to a Rose Champagne.  This is a Cremant de Limoux lavished with great care in its making.  Aged for a minimum of 18 months after completion of the second fermentation in bottle and blended to produce a wine of real harmony - balanced in every way, fresh on the palate with delicate red fruit aromas and a very appealing hint of red fruit on the finish.

Fine and serious Rose from Jean Paul Brun, with a stunning label that deserves repeating three times it's so appealing, just like the wine.

There are not many rose wines that produce sediment but Rose de Folie does after ageing for a couple of years.

Other wines in the range include a dense, concentrated old vine wine, Beaujolais L'Ancien and a fresh confrit fruited straight Beaujolais, Cuvee Premiere.

Jean Paul Brun' s wines are well crafted with a great sense of individuality, eschewing some of the trends of the last 40 years.  No carbonic maceration or thermo-vinification in the making of these wines, just the purest expression of the soils of Southern Beaujolais.
